Really needed to get back into shape with something that would challenge me. And a great way to meet people.

The challenging workouts and the community at the gym.
WHAT CHANGES HAVE YOU SEEN IN YOUR BODY COMPOSITION, HEALTH AND PERFORMANCE SINCE STARTING AT ANCHORED ATHLETICS?
Have definitely gotten much stronger and have improved in every fitness category. Will always need to work on a bit of everything though.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR SPORTS AND FITNESS BACKGROUND:
I’ve always played sports including hockey, baseball, golf, skiing, etc. I’ve been working out in the gym off and on since I was 15.
WHAT IS YOUR SHORT TERM (3 Month goal)? WHAT IS YOUR LONG TERM (6-12 Month goal)?
Short term goal would be to get a bar muscle up. Long term goal would be to do the next open fully prescribed and to improve my placing by 200-300 points.
WHAT WOULD YOUR ADVICE BE TO SOMEONE WANTING TO START CrossFit BUT IS NERVOUS?
Everything can be modified to fit any fitness level while still be challenging for everyone. It’s a great way to find what you are actually capable of doing.
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF OUTSIDE OF CROSSFIT ANCHORED ATHLETICS:
Most of my time is split between shift work and my 4 yr old twin boys (and my lovely wife). The gym is my escape from the rest of life. Really looking toward to some camping this summer all over the island.
